FOLK LAUR 

Art, creativity, and facilitating creative expression in others, is what fuels Lauren’s soul. Up until her junior year of high school, Lauren had planned on attending a prestigious culinary institute following graduation…that same year, she took a film photography class, and everything changed.

 

Ultimately, Lauren graduated from high school early, and was accepted into her first choice college, with a scholarship to boot. Over the course of her college career, Lauren explored endless art mediums. Fully immersing herself in her crafts, while simultaneously studying, Lauren worked at a well-renowned interior design firm as an assistant, in addition to her positions at two high-end retail stores, helping to launch and manage successful e-commerce websites.  

 

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Digital Media/Graphic Design & Studio Art, and a Minor in Communications from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.

 

Stemming from her love of art and photography, Lauren has worked in many creative environments over the years. Her experiences range from her role in marketing at a trade show company, design consultation for custom homes, interior design, home staging, art instruction for both children and teens, and beyond...​
